Entry 14 into my "Clashing Thoughts" photo series where I use a particular set of items which do not really tie to one another thematically and yet work as one series of works.I used the Hot Wheels Bone Shaker toy car, all 3 fancy stones I had and a striped box for the background. I wanted to thread a thin line between tasteful and kitsch art and I think that this piece turned out just between the two. I love when things are over the top but, even if contradictory, it still can be a little too over the top and I still want to keep it balanced at least in some regards. Otherwise, it wouldn't be aesthetically sound.
