Zazu flew to the king as soon as possible. He would never have believed what had happened without seeing everything with his own eyes. It's good that Rafiki was also near the place where everything happened. At least he should help.
Sitting on the rocky surface of Pride Rock next to the resting Sarabi, the hornbill bowed respectfully to the queen:
- Your Majesty, forgive me for distracting you after the hunt, but have you seen the king anywhere? I have an urgent report!
Sarabi was pregnant, so Zazu tried to speak without the intense emotion in his voice, which was now inside him.
- Oh, Zazu, hello! Mufasa had not yet returned from the meeting of the leaders. It's very hot now. I think it could be either in a meeting or by an old tree. This is the only place where you can find shade in the midst of the heat, - Sarabi replied.
- The meeting has already ended. I met elephants along the way. They went to the watering hole. Thank you, Your Majesty. I will immediately try to find him by that tree, - Zazu answered respectfully and was about to fly, but the queen did not let go so soon.
- Wait.. And what kind of urgent report? Did something happen in the Pride Lands? - The queen asked, suspecting something was wrong.
- No, Your Majesty! - the bird lied. - Nothing happened. This is a matter of diplomacy, and Mufasa asked me to discuss this only with him and not tell anyone else. I cannot disobey his order, but I am sure that he himself will inform you if he considers it necessary.
The lies caused Zazu to feel ill at ease, but there was no other way out after Sarabi's question.
- Okay, - Sarabi said, having completely stopped worrying. - Then I will not delay you anymore. Fly to him soon.
- Thank you, Your Majesty! - Zazu said respectfully and soared into the sky, heading to the desired tree with only one terrible thought in his head: there was a big trouble.
~ ~ ~
Soon Zazu was near that very tree and found Mufasa sleeping peacefully. At first he didn’t even want to wake the lion, but the harsh wind that flew at him and the look turned towards the old sleeping volcano reminded him why he was here.
- Sire! Wake up! Trouble! - flapping its wings and flying over the king, the restless hornbill began to scream.
Mufasa reluctantly tore his head off the ground, slightly opening his eyes. In a barely audible voice, he turned to the adviser:
- Zazu, don't make such a noise... What happened?
- Terrible misfortune, sire! Your brother, Scar... He... He attacked his squad and used the Roar of the Elders, - the bird reported slightly stammering with excitement.
- What? - Mufasa asked, struggling to his feet. The news was like a bolt from the blue. He had noticed the oddities of his brother since childhood, but this could never have been expected. Sleep in a matter of seconds took off with a paw. - How? Where did it happen?
- In the Outlands, Scar attacked the Lion Guard and used the Roar of the Elders against the squad! Rafiki is already there. He is helping injured lions. But, sire, I'm afraid for him. The Scar is still there, and he is dangerous. I don't know what came over him.
Mufasa didn't need to know anymore. Excitement and icy horror gripped the young king's heart in a grip of fear and anxiety.
- Hurry, Zazu! We must not hesitate! Take me there!
Hearing the king's order, Zazu immediately flew towards the place where everything happened. The king moved his paws as soon as possible in order to keep up with the adviser and be there as soon as possible. He lifted his muzzle up. The sun was already covered by clouds, apparently from the old volcano. The whole sky was covered with them. Lightning flashed here and there. The weather seemed to go berserk, indignant at such an act of his brother.
“Why did he do it? He was in good standing. All listened to him. Even with hyenas has ceased to be found. I don’t understand!” Mufasa mused, continuing to run. He did not understand the motives for such a bad act of his brother and only hoped that the members of the Guard remained alive after that. But a cool wind blew him out of his thoughts and hit him in the face. It was on time. Mufasa briefly dropped his gaze to the ground and jumped sharply, leaping over the snake that turned out to be in his path. If he had hesitated even for a couple of seconds, it would have been even more trouble, but nothing happened.
- We're almost there, sire! - Shouted Zazu from above, when under the paws of Mufasa there was no longer the usual and so tender for the mighty paws of the grass. The ground was now strewn with stones. Everything said that they were no longer in the Pride Lands, but in the Outlands.
~ ~ ~
Having reached and saw the picture that appeared to his eyes, Mufasa stopped. Somewhere large boulders of stones lay in a chaotic manner as if they had split under the influence of the Roar of the Elders. Two lions lay in blood, bowing with difficulty, lowering their heads in front of him. Another lion lay at a distance and growled muffled, apparently in pain. There was no blood on him, but it was clear from the groans that he, too, had suffered.
Rafiki hovered over the last lion, helping. Taking a baobab fruit off a stick, the old monkey gently lubricated its wound. Mufasa watched everything anxiously and silently, completely entangled in his own thoughts. He didn't immediately see the culprit of all this, Scar.
Scar stood with his back to him and was angry with the whole world. Recently, he chased away a stranger and a snake that stung him in the eye and received for this only the praise of the king and this stupid new name as a sign of supposed valor. But this is not what the lion wanted to get. Then the thought that Mufasa was stupid and proud, was not worthy to be a king, and it was necessary to raise a rebellion against him.
Returning to the detachment, he informed the loyal lions of his intention, but was terribly disappointed when the detachment not only refused to help him, but also went against his plans. An angry Scar, thinking that a bunch of lions would not be able to stop him, used the Roar of the Elders against them. But he had no idea that from that very moment the Great Kings of the Past would punish him: Scar had forever lost the ability to summon the Roar of the Elders and ceased to be the most formidable lion of the savannah.
- What's the matter with them? Everyone is alive? - Asked Mufasa to Rafiki after he was able to control his thoughts. He turned his attention to Zazu. The bird sat silently at his paws.
- Yes. All are alive, king. But they will no longer be able to carry out the patrol as before. There is no more Lion Guard, - the wise monkey answered with a shake of his head.
- It's good that everyone is alive, - Mufasa replied with dismay, accepting the news that the lions will no longer be able to keep the peace of the Pride Lands.
He raised his voice, addressing the victims:
- I apologize for my brother's behavior and thank everyone for the service you have carried up to this moment. Legends will be made about you. Thank! And brother ... he will be punished when I figure out what happened.
Mufasa took a few steps towards Scar and stopped. His stern expression gave way to concern, but it was necessary to bring his relative to justice.
- Scar! What happened here? Why did you do it? - The king asked menacingly, but in a slightly trembling voice.
Scar had been waiting for this question. He had a lot of time to think about what to say. But nevertheless, thoughts began to spin in a round dance again in his head. Why did he do it? The fool-brother did not even know how much he longed for power and envied him all his life. Pictures began to flash before Scar's eyes, which gave an answer to the king's question without falsehood.
~ ~ ~
Childhood. Two kittens are playing in the Lair of the Pride Rock. And suddenly one of them cried out plaintively. It was Mufasa. Taka bit his tail. The big lion, the father of the kids, asked Taku not to do this anymore, but he replied that he did so because Mufasa called him. The king did not believe the lion cub and said that Mufasa would not have done this without a reason, completely taking the side of the eldest son. What was left for the poor kid? Only come to terms with the words of the father.
Then a new picture from childhood came to mind. Once the king, talking to the queen, said that he wanted to take Mufasa with him for an evening tour of the Pride Lands. Taka accidentally overheard this conversation and asked to be with them, but the king refused the request to the youngest son, ordering him to stay with his mother, promising to take him when the time came.
The time never came. The king never took him with him. Always only Mufasa, as an heir, was by his side. And the anger in little Taka grew every day for such injustice. Often staying with his mother and deprived of his father's attention, Taka began to withdraw into himself. He no longer wanted to play with other lion cubs, believing that he was not worthy of this, if not an heir. Then he wanted to become an heir, but he understood that this was impossible.
Later, Taka met the hyenas by chance. They were not like lions. They considered him a strong and respected lion. This is how this strange friendship was born. But when his father found out about this, he severely scolded the lion cub, forbidding him to see his friends. The lion cub, head down dejectedly, promised his father that he would no longer be with them, but secretly, at an opportunity, he went back to them.
Time passed. The lion cubs have grown up and it's time to fall in love. And as is often the case, both brothers fell in love with the same lioness, Sarabi. But she preferred Mufasa. This further strengthened envy and anger in the young lion.
When the old king and queen died, Mufasa led the pride, taking Sarabi as his consort. What is he? He acquired the Roar of the Elders. Finally, Taka was respected as the leader of the Lion Guard. Thoughts of anger, hatred and envy began to leave the head of the young lion. He soon became interested in a young lioness, Zira. But on one of the assignments, he accidentally met a foreign lion. With the skillful manipulations and speeches of that lion, Taka remembered everything again and the old wounds were opened.
Realizing that he possesses a powerful weapon, which was the Roar of the Elders, Taka decided to first remove that lion from the road, but he, suspecting something was wrong, called him and ordered the faithful cobra to bite Taka. The snake has done its job. But Taka survived, receiving only a scar, and forever drove the traitor of his plans from the Pride Lands. Now there was little to do. He summoned the Lion Guard, which he considered his loyal companions, but it turned out that he was mistaken. He understood the consequences of his mistake. Now Mufasa will have to expel him, but there may still be a chance to deceive his brother and persuade him not to do it.
~ ~ ~
- I… I don’t know, - Scar began to answer tearfully, slightly stammering, and then turned to his brother. - It's all poison, Mufasa. He blinded me. My mind has gone cloudy. At some point, I stopped distinguishing between black and white, good and bad, good and evil. And so I attacked the squad. I was unable to understand who was in front of me.
For the credibility of his speech, the rogue let out a tear and began rubbing his eye, which had been bitten by a cobra.
- Forgive me, Mufasa! Forgive me everyone! I didn't want this... I... I didn't control myself. I am very bitter and ashamed, and I lost the Roar of the Elders. The Great Kings of the Past have punished me. Now I don't even know what to do without him. But... don't drive me out, brother, please. I... I will improve.
Mufasa's fearsomeness came to naught. Hearing his brother's sobs, he wanted to hug him and comfort him, but he is a king, which means that duty should be above feelings. Even when it comes to a blood relative.
After considering the decision, Mufasa shook his head and stated:
- You deserve the most severe punishment for such an act, but I will not expel you from the pride. From now on, you will no longer sleep in the Lair with other pride lions, but you will find something else for yourself. You have lost the ability to summon the Roar of the Elders and so have suffered a more severe punishment than exile. I think this is sufficient.
- But, sire, he ... - began Zazu, but the king interrupted him.
- My decision is non-negotiable, Zazu! - Mufasa said menacingly. - Rafiki, help Scar overcome the pain of the cobra venom.
By that time, Rafiki had finished helping the victims and with a thoughtful expression turned to the king:
- Is it only the scar to blame for everything, hmm?
But Mufasa, confident in his decision, did not want to hear any more. Scar, delighted with his brother's short-sighted decision and the fact that his cunning had succeeded, ran up to his brother and fell to his paws.
- Thank you brother! I am guilty, very guilty, but I will improve, I promise.
But Mufasa just looked at him pitifully and walked away without saying a word.
The injured lions followed him, Rafiki hobbled, and Zazu flew. Only Scar remained standing and staring at their backs.
“Fools! What fools you are all! I will not rest until I become your king, whatever the cost to me”, he thought, looking at the animals that turned away from him, and a sly and malicious grin appeared on his face. A new insidious plan of revenge began to emerge in the lion's head, but this is a completely different story.

And the events and crimes that happen in the first movie begins.
Mufasa without knowing just sealed the faith not only to himself, but to the Pride and also his son Simba.
Simba's reign won't be a 100% peaceful one. But hope is on the horizon. Simba's own daughter Kiara, might be the one might or has brought to the Pride Lands during the events in both the second movie and the Lion Guard.

Very nice description of one of the many theories about Taka's scar.
You describe very well that they were good brothers when they were young, but in time their father, King Ahadi, cared only for his firstborn son.
"The time never came. Then he wanted to become an heir, but he understood that this was impossible."
That is the truth, poor Taka.
You have very nicely included the part of the story from the lion guard series where we learn the origin of Scar's scar.
But I always preferred the previous fan theory that Ahadi gave Taka the scar when he was young.
For example here:
"Later, Taka met the hyenas by chance. They were not like lions. They considered him a strong and respected lion. This is how this strange friendship was born. But when his father found out about this, he severely scolded the lion cub, forbidding him to see his friends. The lion cub, head down dejectedly, promised his father that he would no longer be with them,..."
" - Thank you brother! I am guilty, very guilty, but I will improve, I promise.
But Mufasa just looked at him pitifully and walked away without saying a word."
Here they both act as we got to know them before:
Scar the Trickster.
Mufasa, who despises his brother.
