First, thanks for the positive feedback on the sketch that came before this. I decided to do this as a WIP, because I want feedback on this use of lightning/magic bolts in TF art.
Even as it is, I would say this pic is better than most of what I have done... so I feel happy enough uploading it even though it really isnt finished (lots of details yet-- and CLEAN UP! Meh.. lots of cruddy lines yet)

I dont know what people think on the 'cool' factor here.. if this is more detracting than cool. I think its mostly cool.

Was a good work in fooling with lighting effects!! I am learning so much!!

Criticism and suggestions desired--- as I am a novice with digital coloring, and have much I want to learn.
