Don’t let the name of her species fool you: this little bug certainly will not be a ghost in the room. Outspoken, prideful, and reactionary are all perfect words to describe Gossamer, a little firefly who thinks she’s got it all figured out!
A little ball of energy, once you get Gossamer going, she will not stop. It’s not unusual to get her into such a state where she’ll just sit you down and ramble on in conversation. To her, nothing is really off-limits, topic-wise, and she would have a hard time fabricating a lie. She is extremely open in her views, and her bombastic nature can likely be attributed to the house she was raised in, which promoted a culture of quiet politeness. Naturally, she rebelled against that.
This effect is even more amplified by her ADHD, which simultaneously allows her to bend her spontaneity into wonderful land art sculptures, and also prevents her from focusing on one task for more than 7 seconds. Naturally, her life and living space can get pretty hectic in a hurry. It’s never difficult to see when Gossamer is particularly excited about something; her literal glow intensifies when she becomes overwhelmed with emotion, coating any space she occupies with a radiant blue.
