Another deeply emotional loving painting I did of Anemone and Leo, prior to his death. They were soulmates, and losing him shattered her in a way that can't be recovered from. She still wears a scale of his in a locket around his neck, hoping someday the gods will bring him back to her.
I really enjoyed painting this, even though it's incredibly sad for me and somber, I love these two, I love the ideal of eternal and unconditional love. I love the idea of moving heaven and earth for the person you care most for. I am in love with the idea of a deep love, deeper than the deepest seas and stronger than the brightest stars.
