The Epsilon is a prototype heavy stealth frigate. It has an experimental pison reactor that is powered by the crew's emotions. The psion reactor gives it a semi-sentient state that responds to the crew's mental state. It will some times act independently to take the crew to where they need to go rather then where they want to go. It will also overcharge it's weapons and shields when the crew is in danger, this ability cannot be triggered manually. Because of it's sporadic behavior and inability to be fully controlled, it remains in an indefinite prototype state while being tested.

While the ship can house upwards of a nearly a thousand crew, it only has four permeant residents for test control purposes. This four is known as the Epsilon Squad. The rest of the ship is being run by an onboard A.I. hologram called Holly and her fleet of drones and robots. The Epsilon seems to be constantly trying to wrestle control away from Holly.

The Epsilon also has an experimental warp engine called the chrono drive that can only be powered by the psion reactor. The chrono drive allows to Epsilon to move through time rather space like traditional hyper drives. Giving the Epsilon the ability to instant travel to any point in charted space. It can teleport behind enemy lines or even within planetary shields. Because it doesn't use spatial signatures it's arrival cannot be detected by standard methods.

With the help of the psion reactor, the Epsilon on focus on energy specific technology. Such as being able to maintain shields while cloaked and high-powered energy cannons. The psion reactor's energy signature matches that of background cosmic radiation making it impossible to be picked up on radar. Any attempt to be targeted and its energy signatures will fluctuate preventing lock-on. Making it the perfect undetectable stealth vessel ever designed.

It comes with a myriad of other top secret technologies, most of which are unknown even to the crew themselves. They only learn of them when they need to be activated.
