*Clang* could be heard throughout the practice room as two wooden swords made contact with each other. Inside a makeshift ring that was really the stage where the Cherryton Academy drama club practiced their performances. For now, there stood the gray wolf known as Legosi wearing only a pair of shorts. He held one of the wooden swords in his claws as sweat soaked his fur staring at his opponent. On the other side of the "ring" was the red deer, Louis, the head actor of the drama club. The likely candidate to claim the title of Beastar. His fur soaked in even more sweat than Legosi as he was breathing more deeply than Legosi.

They were alone and had been fighting for what seemed like hours, but why? It wasn't that long ago when Legosi and Bill fought and spilled blood on the stage. The performance was a success, and Legosi thought they would move forward as if nothing happened. Was this "sparring match" punishment for how he acted on stage? Was Louis trying to rebuild his strength after he fractured his leg? Was it...

*Clang* *Clunk* Louis wasted no time as Legosi distracted himself with why they were even fighting and may have been hesitant to strike Louis down. Soon enough, Legosi's sword was out of his claws and he fell on his back after Louis swept his leg with the one that had been in a cast not too long ago.

Legosi groaned as his back hit the ground. May still be reeling from those scars that Bill left on him. Legosi oofed and as he felt something on top of his stomach. It was Louis' foot as it pushed down even further making Legosi cough a little. Legosi looked up and saw Louis' demeanor. Louis was stern and held his pose looking at the gray wolf beneath him. It was as if that moment was when he knew his strength came back. More than that, he took down a carnivore. He felt stronger than before though seemed upset at Legosi.

Louis: Were you holding back?

Legosi: Well...you were upset about blood on the stage.

Louis gripped his wooden sword and looked at Legosi fiercely. "When we fight, don't hold back!"

Legosi looked up and didn't respond. The lights angled where it was darker around Louis' body as if the anger inside him was building up. Louis couldn't help at how the light shined on Legosi. Even though he was the victor in this battle, Legosi shines brighter than him. From Legosi's perspective, Louis was stronger and more likely fit to be the next Beastar. He didn't want to disappoint him and still looked up to him.

"Don't hold back" repeating in Legosi's head. He didn't really like to fight and only did this time when Louis asked him for a sparring session. What reason would he have to fight Louis again? Louis' cell phone vibrated unbeknownst to either Legosi or Louis, then stopped. He received a text message reading

"Let's meet tomorrow after class" - Haru
