I was having a creative slump. All I could think of at the moment was to fill an age gap in my 1/2 mermaids who're 16. Here's the first of 2 I wound up coming up with.

⦁ Biography: Ptolema is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born unto Junichiro & Palutena, coming in between Philomela and Sumiko, meaning she's a part of the 5th line of 1/2 mermaids. Like many of her siblings, Ptolema enjoys listening to her father's stories of his travels whenever he came back from another world after sometime away. Ptolema was eventually inspired by one story to take up arms and become a fighter like her old man. However, whereas Mayuri went and became a Mercenary, she followed in the footsteps of her eldest sister Misaki and trained herself in the fighting style of the Myrmidon. She however, only focused on the fighting style of the Jehanna & Chon'sin Myrmidons, unlike Misaki who broadened her focus to focus on all regions with Myrmidons, including the samurai of Hoshido. While Ptolema did gain enough strength to be recognized as a Myrmidon, she learned the hard way that she still had a lot to learn in terms of when not to pick fights. One day, Ptolema challenged Misaki, who had been given the honorific of Swordmaster, to a sword fight, that ended with Ptolema receiving a bad cut that ran diagonally down her left eye with the bottom stopping at her nose. Though Ptolema was lucky that her eye was not damaged, the scar was permanent and Ptolema now wears an eye patch over said scar, which serves as a painful reminder to her that she should not challenge those beyond her league. However, when she traveled with her other Fire Emblem aligned sisters to the continent of Gaia, she enlisted into the Gaia Army, and from there was able to get her urges to challenge stronger opponents under control. But it was not 100% under control just yet, as evident when she fought against N'Raqi sent by the Supreme Archduke during the Siege on Gaia Castle. Though she slew 7 of the monsters, she made the smart decision to fall back with her father & sisters, who also manage to survive and fall back. After that, Ptolema was quick to pledge her alliegance to the newly formed Gaia Alliance in order to help take Gaia back, and pledged to lend a hand in any other situation when asked. Ptolema is as friendly & motherly as one might expect from those in Juni's family. However, she is quite the competetive one, always eager to prove herself against an opponent should the chance arise. Though after she got scarred in a duel with her elder sister Misaki, she does not do this as often anymore. For better or worse; Ptolema has a habit of consistently using slang originating from the 1980s. Such phrases include, but are not limited to: "Are you dissing my style? Nobody disses my style!", "Of course a good number of us are bodacious! We've got a bodacious mother, homey.", "Is that true? Where's the beef then?", and even "Cowabunga!". The last of which is one of her critical quotes. Fortunately, everyone who knows her completely understands what she means when she speaks like this, but if there's one thing that really drives Ptolema up the wall, it's if her slang is taken literally. The fondest of Siestas.
⦁ Abilities: As a half-mermaid, Ptolema is able to take on her mermaid form when she's in a body of water. In the water, like her other 1/2 mermaid siblings, Ptolema enjoys an increase to her avoid/dodge. Given her status as a Myrmidon, Ptolema is blessed with good speed & skill and is well balanced in terms of luck, strength, defense, and even resistance, especially given her good growth rates in those 6 areas. The only real issue she has is magic itself, given she is not that magically aligned and has no magic classes to class change into. Unlike Misaki, Ptolema only has access to the Swordmaster & Assassin classes to promote into. This is because she did not study how Hoshidan Samurai fight, and therefor misses out on the Duelist's Blow skill, and the Master of Arms promotion. Ptolema starts at D-Rank in swords, so she cannot make use of the Killing Edge yet. She starts with the following weapons and skills.
⦁ Iron Sword: A common sword made of common material. Affordable and easy to wield. It can be used 40 times before breaking.
⦁ Iron Katana: A common katana made of common material. Grants Speed +1 and Def/Res -1. It can be used 40 times before breaking.
⦁ Zanboto: A sword designed to deal increased damage to units mounted on horseback. It has 18 uses.
⦁ Defiance: Ptolema's personal skill. When inflicted with a stat debuff, her strength & defense increase by 2 for each stat lowered. This does not include self-inflicted debuffs from weapons held.
⦁ Avoid +10: Increases Avoid by 10.
