Wyrm of woolly nickel, millerite

Wyrms of woolly nickel are large wyrms with an elongated, graceful body and short cartilaginous wings, and they also have a developed vocal apparatus that allows them to make sounds similar to a dog's barking and howling.
Granum seminis looks like a needle-like crest, sometimes a stiff mane.
Rare subspecies, they prefer mountainous terrain.
Wyrms of woolly nickel synthesize a number of toxic nickel compounds that often accumulate in their scales. Some individuals can synthesize alpha and beta modifications of nickel sulfide, which have a higher alchemical activity than natural substances.
These wyrms have no economic value. Occasionally they harm people, frightening them with barking and howling, for which they received one of their names (cave dog).
