While Eclipse doesn't necessarily need to *go* anywhere to observe her domain, she does sometimes escape the self-imposed duties of royalty. In this particular case, a distant mountain peak blooming with wild flowers attracted her attention, a place for peace and collection of thought. Random spots of beauty in the wilderness like this tend to draw her most, as unlike the developments of, say, a city, they're the conclusion of seemingly random elements set in motion eons past, at the creation of her world.
