Both me and my friend were reminded of Salvadore Dali with this piece. I was particularly drawn to the cluttered multicolored square leaves in the background, just behind the outlined subject. I thought your use of color here was really cool, and the painted square were very interesting. For some reason, this feels a bit "indie Japanese" to me, like an old RPG-maker JRPG if it had art.
