Cancel culture continues to rear its ugly head. And now its sights are firmly set on classic cartoon characters. What was once funny is now...horrible and racist and yadda, yadda, yadda. Get the picture yet? These people will not stop. This is basically a modern day witch hunt to destroy...well, culture. The ultimate goal seems to be to destroy the past instead of using it as an example and learning from it. You know, the thing you're supposed to do with history? "Destroy the past. Kill it if you have to," sure takes on a darker meaning now, doesn't it? And then Disney and others will try to replace the old culture with new woke garbage. Thankfully, their "replacements" like the High Republic are just laughably bad. They want to get rid of the good stuff so you're forced to read and watch their crap.
Anywho, there's a sequel to the 1996 movie Space Jam, coming out this year. (It came out that long ago? Dang, I feel old now.) And it appears it too has been infested with woke politics. Look at how they took away Lola's sex appeal. She was the sexy and sassy girl that Bugs liked. Now she looks like an orange version of Bugs. I may prefer smaller breasts, but I hate the idea of characters being changed for as vapid of a reason as "it's current year!" Heck, even in that weird Looney Tunes show from the 2010s she had boobs. Now suddenly a woman looking like a woman is a bad thing?
Course, they're also after Pepe Le Pew too. I'm sure most people who want to cancel him have never watched any of his cartoons to the end. He's a pervert. He's the bad guy. And he loses in the end. That's the joke! You're not meant to look at what he does and think, "Oh yeah, that's exactly how I'll act!" Seriously, how are adults unable to tell the difference between a cartoon and real life, but kids can figure that out? Half the time, the tables are turned at the end Pepe's cartoons. And the cat becomes infatuated by him once the smell is eliminated...and then he's the one running away! Or his wife smacks him upside the head for trying to cheat on him.
Then you have the morons on twitter trying to cancel Speedy Gonzales as well. They claim he's "offensive to Mexicans." Apparently they've never talked to any Mexicans because they love Speedy. No joke, some see him as their version of the Flash. But hey, why listen to the people you claim to be offended for, amirite?
Anywho, that's enough of that. I have two more versions of this which are more on the fun side. But Lola and Pepe Le Pew pretty topical right now. So I figured I'd try my hand at drawing them.

the biggest problem with cancel culture in my eyes
some how twitter has gained tons of power to push this stuff to happen more. Disney for some reason fears twitter outrage way more than not making money. its probably safe to say thats how all company's are reacting. witch is why we have "get woke go broke."
i remember hearing that pepe's scene was cut from space jam 2 and the actress complained because..it was her only roll in the movie.

Dude, it's like 1984 all over again.
What the idiots want is to bury everything from the past so they have a blank slate to write their own history. Don't like something that happened ten years ago? Wipe it away. Gone With the Wind might offend somebody (probably a Caucasian lawyer)? Make it never happened.
I have seen the future, and it is not black or white. Like the character George Orr in Ursula K. LeGuin's novel The Lathe of Heaven, someday we will awaken and everything be a universal flat gray. No light, no color, all the people will be equal... equally, cloyingly awful.
The Cancel Culture monsters (for that is indeed what they are) will not be happy until they kill reality and substitute their own mad world view. And you can't legislate against evil. If this continues, there will be a vacuum, and you won't like what moves in to fill it.
Who controls the past controls the future.

Honestly there wasn't really anything wrong with original Lola's design it was just she didn't really have much of a personality or purpose in the original movie other then to flirt with Bugs a couple of times and to have a female character on the team even though she didn't really... do anything. The New Looney Tunes Show bothered giving her an actual personality and attitude that can interact with others well and honestly just having that sort of character in the mix with the regular design would of been fine here. But no have to try and change the design for yeah the stupidest dumb ass reasons *sighs* You know there's nothing wrong with sexy and confident being actual character traits. Like seriously someone going to try cancelling Jessica Rabbit next whenever they try doing another Who Framed Roger Rabbit of some kind because yeah good luck trying to pass a character like that in something animated nowadays even though that's the point of the character.
And you know the Pepe Le Pew one is ESPECIALLY insulting? There actually was a deleted scene in this sequel that had him in it. That had him try flirting with a woman get smacked around and then be told by Lebron James you don't do that anymore and him getting that. So you literally had the character being told tiems had changed and having to adapt but still having that as part of a joke and yeah that would of worked well but yeah "destroying the past" just means anything we even see as offensive and having to admit was offensive even if we are trying to change it now are wrong so we just have to get rid of that which is such horse crap I am totally on your side on how terrible and annoying this is. Seriously the Disney live action remakes keep pulling this crap and now WB is trying to as well and it just seems oh so sad.

Whatever happened to parents teaching their kids not to act like these characters? Whatever happened to the idea that these shows are entertainment and not baby sitters or role models?
Problem is, everything is offensive to at least one person. No matter how much we might try to make something inoffensive or even outright polite, there will always be someone out there that will find something about it they find offensive.
If people find something that offensive, whatever happened to not watching it? I doubt they'd be too happy if someone cancelled something they enjoy because someone else found something about it offensive.

I like how they are mad because they removed the scene where the girl was going to put Pepe in his place. :P Once they learned that's was going to happen, now they are mad he got cancelled. xD would have been a great seen to not know was coming. : / These people ruin everything they touch for all the worst reasons.
They destroy everything that they touch. Cancel Culture is an Infection that must never be allowed to spread! Maybe we can trick Cancel Culture into attacking the things that their Far-Left Overlords love? Like The Georgia Guide stones and Bohemian Grove. If Cancel Culture attacks these, then the Criminal Scum-Bags who are in charge of the Far-Left and Biden will absolutely freak out and be forced to disband Cancel Culture to protect their agendas and 80% culling of Humanity (Depopulation by lowering our numbers down to 500,000,000 or less). It sickens me to know that the Ruling Elite want us all to foolishly believe that killing off 80% us will save the world from Global Warming. The 1% never had the right to rule over any of us to begin with. Turn Cancel Culture completely against their Accomplished Manipulators and we can save Pepe, Lola and many other Pop-Culture Icons from being killed off.
Stupid censors.
Hi from Russia. Some russian people say that "Which SJW? You're from Barnaul, Altai". But I prefer to ignore them.
Pepe the Skunk has never been my favourite character. And I didn't love him. But I'm against it being removed. He just want a love. But nobody love him.
DON"T TOUCH PEPE THE SKUNK.

" This is basically a modern day witch hunt to destroy...well, culture.”
Yes cause when i think of culture i assume cartoon characters and cartoon rabbit boobs...
i mean i do, cause i’m on this site, but most of the rest of the population and planet do not consider this shit culture in the slightest, nor should they.
"Look at how they took away Lola's sex appeal.”
I mean should w not thin kit strange that a show aimed at children and young people would want a character with sex appeal?
even when i watch the first space jam today i’m surprised by how sexualized they made lola, i mean again i appreciate dit but now i have maturity i think it was kind of strange for the age demographic.
" Heck, even in that weird Looney Tunes show from the 2010s she had boobs. Now suddenly a woman looking like a woman is a bad thing?”
Oh boy, come on man, stop pretending like this is anything about female agency and more just the fact you miss the sex appeal for the sex appeal and nothing more
it’s not more justified but this excuse i see anytime this happens so is blatantly pathetic and shallow it’s not wroth the cringe.
