Im also sticked on the fact that the shadow seems behind him, along with the sun, which was one of the reasons why i thought it was a backdrop, because the camera facing Zoran could have caused the shadow to be behind him

The umbrella's shadow gives the impression that its laying against a backdrop, because of the shadow, but I understand why youve draw a shadow under, but as a personnal opinion, the shadow should be dimished as much as possible to prevent that impression

And the split in between the sand and the water should be more bumped and less straight, like on a beach, where we can find footprints and wind marks
