They wanted a full pic this time around, with an Egyptian theme! And boy was I more than happy to comply. I've been a long time fan of ancient Egypt, and a big part of it is the art.
Having said that, I wanted to do a sort of ancient painted look made to look like it's on papyrus. I really love how it came out, and the original looks even neater as the more stylized elements did not show in the scan(believe me I tried my darnest to get a nice scan).
So, I hope you all like this! Also I'd be more than happy to do similar themes for commissions in the future.
Yes I can 'write' in ancient Egyptian. Yes, I made my name into a cartouche for my signature. Yes, I am a gigantic nerd.
...I have an Egyptian sketch of Aki lying around here somewhere...maybe I will finish it when I'm done with trades and such...
