Captain Sal'tasnon (Sal to those on his good side) commands the pirate ship Bloody Fortune. He doesn't insist on a lot of the booty and plunder be spent on fancy clothes or a captain's jacket (since, even as a selchan, excessive clothing can slow him down underwater). But his hat must have a large feather!

As for his weapons of choice, the pistol is simply a single-shot gun with a spiked butt for clubbing, while the katana is a magical death sword, able to occasionally summon echoes of those killed by its edge.
