I made a movie poster for my sci-fi story, mostly because it's one of the most stereotype'd graphical images around. Despite the fact that I didn't have access to my digital pencil and tablet, I had to try to draw it on photoshop with a mouse.

Horrible. And long.

But it turned out good. The planets are entirely in photoshop, very easily done with various glows. The cityscape was made by google'd cities with high buildings and towers, and then painted their profiles.

The ship itself I made in the 3d modelling program Google Sketchup some months ago.

The names are blended with made up names, names of friends and internet aliases I got.

EDIT: Forgot to add two things. The clouds are from a photo. Easy thing. Anyhow.

The second thing is that, I discovered half-way through the picture, is that it's a portrait of Mira herself too. As some might know, she's a wolf anthro. The sun is her right eyes, the spaceship is her nose and the lens reflections on the right side of the picture is about her left eye. Abstract like heck, but atleast I can see it.
