Though realistically it was just the copyright holders opting, on their own accord, to omit him from the movie. He's likely not going anywhere, maybe kept around as a side character for some stuff. A stinky, hopeless romantic can still be a fun character with good writing, even without his usual over the top shenaynays.
I dunno, that's my two cents plus tax on the matter. He will always have a place in my heart. x3

One of my favorite cartoon characters, and he never gets tickled enough ;) Very happy that you gave him some attention! I had no idea they were excluding him from the latest film, but I sadly can't say that I'm surprised. They've talked for a long time about removing him and Speedy Gonzales from modern cartoons. A shame :/
Hooo I didn't knew the story behin OwO so is why he is not in the modern looney-toons ?? But what they'll do with him so ?
And same woth speedi....they'll just remove them and make them disapear like if they had never exist ??
