Many years ago when I was with my first boyfriend, he had a wolf dog mix named Tailgate. He was the color of a creamsicle, as rambunctious as a child with a sugar high and as ornery as an old man with kidney stones. I loved that dog so much. I guess he was on my mind tonight as I made this.
