These are Grumplies.
lemonsynth wanted something fruffy and cute. This is the best I could manage |D
There are three general varieties, shorthair, curly, and longhair. There's only shorthair and curly here. They can come in a variety of half-assed patterns and colors, with or without horns/hair, and with or without broken/snaggly teef.
They are, as their name implies, grumpy. Watch out for those huge jaws, they bite. Also, they eat a TON of food. They also eat trash. Pretty much anything that fits in their mouth, or can be crunched up to fit, counts as food to them.
They stand about a foot tall but can be as small as 6 inches, those are pygmy Grumplies, but it's not really a separate breed since you can get pygmys in the same litter as the standard size. They are genderless except at breeding time. Then, if there's more than one in the same area, one will pick a gender and the others will go from there so everyone can breed. The litters usually range between 2-6, but can be as big as 20, although anything over 6 is rare.
Ummmm, I'm sure there's more but right now I forget |D
