Pepe Le Pew was mostly a character meant to take a jab at romantic characters, even going as far as having a gentleman's French accent. Removing him won't solve anything and only make things worse. It's bad enough they had to redesign Lola, but removing Pepe entirely is just a whole new level of ridiculousness.

This censorship has gone too far and it's almost every day something new is going to be canceled. The only people who see this as a problem are the ones who overthink it.

Someone once said "I've always been saying for while, there is NO "culture war". There has been there never will. Just like any fads from before they come and they go. I can guarantee you that near the end of this decade this "WOKE/SJW/cancel culture fad will be a thing of the past. I hope history repeats itself. In the late 60s/early 70s there were also problems with rioters and the left. The answer to that was masculine action movies beginning in the late 70s/early 80s. John Wick movies are the beginning and they are box office hits proving it's a throwback to the 80s and 90s action films. Those prove an audience wants pure entertainment and something different that is a throwback to the 80s and 90s action films that isn't political agenda shoved in faces.


SJW/woke culture doesn't sell! look at the box office results for Ghostbusters 2016, Ocean's 8 and MIB 4, all underperformed! while Terminator Dark Fail, Black Christmas 2019, and Charlie's Angels reboot BOMBED, NFL/NHL/MLB/NBA ratings tanked, Gilette lost 9 billion dollars and all. The female Die Hard movie will bomb badly. This will make hollywood wake up and learn audiences don't want agenda politics in entertainment and will fire woke people and hire people with actual standards on how to do escapism stories. People with standards have had enough SJW/woke/cancel culture bullshit and political agenda in entertainment like Star Wars today, Bill and Ted 3, and so on. Socialism always fails, always had, always will and so will woke. Even the GB 2016 merchandise had low sales while merchandise to the classic GB franchise sold very well, it's a New Coke and Coca-Cola classic thing of how New Coke failed while Coca-Cola classic was a success.


The older female film heroes like Taarna from Heavy metal, Ripley, Sarah Conner, Anne Lewis in Robocop 1 and 2, Kill Bill's Bride etc. did the female movie hero thing better than today's half assed lazy attempts film attempts which today's are just done for man-bashing woke points instead of actual likable charismatic and engaging female heroes on the screen. If anyone want to create an actual strong woman character for a movie, learn from the elder films even Ann Lewis from Robocop 1 and 2 and and those ladies i mentioned of how to do them right. The next generation of kids are now rebelling hard against this SJW/cancel tulrue/woke nonsense. Woke culture will die out and sanity will be restored.



The woke/SJW/cancel culture thing is a fad that will mercifully fade away. Even SJWs as they will fade away and be irrelevant and entertainment will return to being entertainment again like in the good old days. Hollywood must learn from history and repeat itself like it does. SJW/woke culture will not be forever, near the end of this decade the SJWs and the Political Correction will be forgotten and Abandoned, like all the Fashions of each Decade. The reason those older films i mentioned and their female heroes i mentioned still resonate is that the filmmakers at the time were just trying to make the best movies that they could. Thus those films and characters tend to be timeless in their way.


By contrast, many - but not all - modern filmmakers are trying to be /timely/ by checking off a bunch of woke-ass, diversity marketing boxes in an attempt pander to the current hipster crowd - most of whom don’t care anyway. The implication of this is that these current pander-cinema films will just age badly in the years to come. Fortunately all of the woke/SJW/cancel culture garbage will eventually rot away into obscurity. We will get good stories again some day... Hollywood is in the crapper right now so here's hoping that all of the wokeness is circling the drain along with the rest of the talentless hacks that write it.
