:B A speedpaint to help me get my mind off things.

I sorta wish I would have done something a bit more exciting, but at the very least I learned that Art Rage is very awesome and useable (if annoying only for not having PS key commands).

This makes me miss Painter, orz.

Time Taken: 3-ish hours
Tools Used: ArtRage 2.5 + Photoshop CS4

I don't even know how I'd start to make a picture look like this, painting style, without it seeming like amateur photoshot crap, and I've been trying tor 9+ years. So it's cool :3

Thank you! D8 Aww, don't put yourself down... Photoshop can be irritating at times, which is why I really like Painter (and by extension, ArtRage). More tools to work from at least. XD

I love this, and I especially love the swirls in the image. I find a in a lot of the traditional media work I use to do I would add swirl in locations, specially in school paintings.

I have to try Art Rage some time...
This speedpaint turned out great.

The colors are probably my favorite part of it. The brush texture looks quite good, too.

Yesss you should~ I think the full version is about $25... it's very much like painting with oils (as far as I know, since they use thinners and the like to control thickness and opacity)

Your gators are just so believable. I love their snout anatomy here. You pulled that off flawlessly.
