The usual snacking never seems to go unpunished, or unrewarded depending how you would like to think about it ( ),when it comes to Sasha. So here we have her looking over the results of her morning Pop-Tart binge. Seems like the shirt isn't going to be of much use longer, and those shorts are already tearing.
It took me a bit to figure out which character of mine would be used for this picture. I used another photograph to study from, and since I tend to get caught up in just learning from the photo itself, I lose sight of what the picture is about. In many cases I don't even know who is in the drawing. When I do figure it out, I go back to the picture and try to make the figure more suitable for that character, and voila, final results.
I'm still trying to differentiate her physique from my other characters, mostly in that I'm trying to focus more attention on her stomach than the others.

A very cute pic. I especially enjoy the bit of frosting below her mouth. It almost looks like she's wearing lipstick.
Also, I just noticed her eyes appear to be a different color. Didn't they use to be green?
Anyway, it's a good pic overall and I'm starting to like the more realistic look of your characters. Their weight is starting to look more plausible (though I'm still a sucker for girls that are "bigger-than-life", as the say X3).

Yeah, I actually changed them for that same reason mentioned last time.
As I looked through my character list, Sasha could go well with either eye color, so out of variety's sake, decided to switch it.
And yeah, as for the weight, I still believe I can make that larger than life style look better the more I understand the more realistic components of it first. As I figure, if I know how the body looks at various realistic stages and weights, then I can better speculate larger and more realistically unachievable weights for the future to draw.

well, if she's still hungry for pop-tarts then who would I be to deny her some? XP
looking pretty good though, theres a nice softness to her. Out of curiousity, how confident do you feel to not draw with reference from a photo or something? Cause that would help the drawing have a bit more focus and a clearer theme, as you yourself mentioned.

True enough, hehheh.
As for my confidence, I'm alright with it, though the focus and clear theme is gained at a loss of originality, since I'm still at the stage where I can only draw certain kinds of poses that I have done before well enough to be able to post them. Though sometimes it works, and I do post those. The character concept picture of Breanne, the too heavy picture, the Farx picture, the new Tirae, and Haley pictures were all done of my own accord recently. Aside from some corrections of course.
But thanks, glad you liked it. And I do hope that as I learn more, through reference, studying, and practice, that you'll see less referenced pictures and more purely original ones in the future anyway.

I think you should try sketching people or objects out in the open, from how you described your drawing hassles with still images it *might* be a little more relaxing to just watch reality and take from it what you will. But that choice has its own problems so you're free to ignore this. I can't believe anyone can eat enough of those things for the filling to line around their mouth like blood on a predator. Guess you can’t buy expensive food when most of your money goes into a quickly tattered wardrobe.
I've thought about that, but even if I did decide to try more literal life art in regards to people, background I can do at any time, I would have to wait until the fall anyway. So at the moment it is not much of an option for me. But I definitely see the merit, and necessity of it in the long run, of drawing what you see as you see it outside of photos and pictures and whatnot.
As for the pop-tarts, I'd classify it as one of those food you can eat too much of if you're not paying attention to it. Not to mention that they also don't seem that fattening from the looks of them, until you look at the stats on the box of course.

Yeah, many people would probably agree to that. Most people have a sweet spot for a weight range. Though I know that a lot of people on this site like the immobile extreme too. Oh well, either way it seems most people want her to just get bigger, at this point at least.
