Caught up with 
eevachu at a stream being run this weekend, and figured since I was getting Mercedes drawn a fair bit lately, I'd go with her again. Went with Eevachu's 'digital doodle' commission style, which is basically a quick watercolour-ish digital inked sketch. And which I think worked out pretty well.
Being a kitsune, Mercedes does have a better sense of smell than most humans. So why not play to her strengths?

Yeah, for something I wrote twenty years ago to start with, when I was a much newer writer (and based loosely on a role-playing campaign almost ten years before that), Mercedes has recently started taking up a lot more of a role as I picked her up again for a quick conbook story and had to make the worldbuilding all make sense on a larger scale.
