She was quite sane. And she spent the whole day lounging on a pool float. It was pretty amazing. If I live to be 100, I hope I am still diving into pools...
And yes, vintage is... <3. If you can ignore how horrible living conditions were for most people back then and just enjoy the look of clothes, jewelry, prints, furniture, houses...

I think they'll see what was good about us... It's like... music in the 60's, and the hippy movement. You tend to hear about what was good about it, and not about the countless number of terrible pop songs and teenagers who wanted so badly to be hippies that they got themselves forced into prostitution and poverty.
Hmm yeah. They'll probably refer to our time as the time of technology. But if anything, I think our fashion has fallen into the most boring trend its' ever been in.
I think the world has fallen into a fit of "Don't offend the person next to you" so we all walk around wearing solid colors and having nothing to brag about for our time.
Everything is reminiscent of an era long past. Maybe that's the thing about our time? It's like the bookkeeper era of the rest of history. Blah. -__-;

Lovely illustration :D
And nice depiction of the tradicional beach clothing of that days.
There are a lot of pics of where I live when they use the exact clothes to bath in the river, around 1800 to start of the 1900. (We used to have the river way too high at that time...now almost all population of my "town" lives in land where before was a part of the Rio de la Plata)
...Ah,good times. I remembered some history with this pic. Thanks.

Glad I could help with the memories! That's awesome that there are pics like this of these kinds of suits from around your area!
I love this style and era. Basically the 1880-1940's were my favorite. I've thought of specializing my art in these eras.
Think I should? Then folks could come to me and refer their friends to me if they wanted a classic style piece. ^^ <3

Thanks so much! You honor me with your ever so sweet compliments! I hope to keep amazing you, hun!
I've never had a date to the beach either. My mate and I actually live in KS so we're so far away from a beach it's not even funny.
But that makes this even more of a great pic, because it brings to life an image of us in a better time and place. <3

Hehe~
I'm glad it turned out so well! And thanks, I do my best to pull of the classic looks. I've thought of making it my niche. <3
My mate finally got an FA account so yeah. It's not Kayche, it's Jonin. A ginger werewolf (red-head in real life). We've been together almost 3 years.
And yeah, my mate works out alot.*^-^* <3 Muscles
Just note me whenever you'd like and I'll put you in my next commission list, hun!^^

This looks wonderful, dear! I really do enjoy how you've been doing a very old time-y style with your work. It's unique and fun! And it looks amazing to boot! Gaaaah, I wish we had a pool or a beach or something around here. Even a kiddie pool would be nice. I'm stuck in a nearly non-existent back water trailer town. >/ I can't WAIT to get outta here. <3

It is such a warm picture. I was surprised to come home to day and see it. I had no idea my lovely Feralise was even working on it. I love how she makes me feel with her art. Her art is more then a good picture its some thing I relate to on an emotional and personal level.
Great job sweetie
