sinking stuff has been on the backburner for so long but i think i love it again?? oh my god??

it works really well with the “shy weird nerd” character trope i’m a huge fan of (and TB fits the bill perfectly), like, i'm picturing TB stumbling into the tar pit and he starts sloowly sinking and squirms around, whimpering, and about halfway up his knees he realizes it’s actually really soft... and warm... and comfortable.. and soon his whole body is gonna be pressed on all sides by the soft warmth, hopelessly sinking deeper and deeper...

i honestly dont think much about the ending- TB could sink and end up in some kind of underground cave system, get pulled out at the last second, or just like, straight up die and then immediately get recovered. Mostly its about the sort of desperate feeling and then realizing it’s so soft and comfortable and accepting your fate sinking deeper and deeper into the hungry quicksand..
