Bathym caught Shinji assaulting his Master and decided to teach the little shit a lesson. Of course Sakura's trying to stop him but unfortunately for Shinji, Tail-kun's holding her back. He'll let Shinji go after a few punches to the face and kick to the nuts.

I'd like to see Bathym having the same type of relationship with Sakura like she has with Medusa but he would be more rebellious and try to help his Master out more (like keeping Shinji and making a concoction to "deworm" Sakura with his knowledge of herbs).
