A roguish sort known only for the moniker given in his wake- an appropriate portmanteau of pride and mystery. 'Whobris' is a relentless thief, in equal parts selfish and vigilante. Despite this disposition, he's often welcome among circles of nobles and mages, as he's very peaceful company, quiet and sweet. Not to mention that he often comes bearing beautiful and invaluable gifts.... about which knowledge or treasure hungry sorts are uninclined to ask questions. While Whobris is generally reserved and likable, he's also sharp tongued and sometimes intentionally crass, often singling out a target to insult and insinuate at until they snap at him, usually to his political or heist-related advantage. A word to the wise, if he's trying to make you start a fight with him, it's probably so he can rob your richer cousin blind in the scuffle. Don't take the bait unless you're sure you can keep him in arm's length.
Whobris enjoys simple, controlled spaces, where he can get his bearings and rely on his knowledge. He prefers to be inside, or flitting between buildings in tall looming cities, but is contented too on stony mountains and in shallow caves. The ambiguity and change of deep jungles and forests make him nervous, but also intrigued, and he takes managing new things as a challenge. The woodland and fields call to him in the golden hours of dawn and dusk, when the world is lit enough to navigate but dark enough to take advantage of.
Whobris enjoys loose, simple clothing to accomodate his feathers and his delicate wings. He likes to linger close to others who stand out more than himself, which his dull accessorizing aids in. His outfit often ends up building over time as glittering jewellery and luxurious clothing mysteeeeeeeriously appear on his person. Not one to foolishly flaunt his misdeeds, these changes are actually usually put upon him by his travelling companions, in an effort to distract his attention (and not to lose him in a crowd). He finds gifts flattering yet restrictive, but his frustration is radically outweighed by appreciation.
the raised wing in the reference image is to display dorsal markings, he does not have four wings, only two with a wide range of motion. He may, however, be depicted with any blend of features from the dragon-ly form to the humanoid one, as he freely changes shape between them. The forms are to scale in the reference, and the dragon shape is about the same height at the scalp as the human, though still overall larger.
