The oldest part of the Bürgerhospital in Frankfurt, whicht is pretty much next to my apartment. It was build in 1772 and there is also an intersting story about it. It was foundet by Johann Christian Senckenberg, a medician, humanist and sciencist from Frankfurt who also foundet the nature historical society of Frankfurt (the museum of natural history in Frankfurt is named after him because of that) as well as the medical institute, the public library and the first botanical garden of the city. He died in November 1771 after he fell of the roof of the hospital when he inspected the clock tower. He was buried at the hospital.
