Ellie's Evolution Part 1, "Ellie Prower" Era
Ok, I noticed my recent art of Ellie had gained a lot of favourites recently so I decided to do a retrospective of her. In part 1, I am including some of the arts I did way, way back between 2008-2010. Although this version of Ellie is very different to the current version of Ellie I use today, The three ways the version's are similar is in name, basic structure and the fact of them being my primary anthro female character who is the crush of my fursona, Steven.
Now, this version of Ellie, known as "Ellie Prower" as you can tell was affiliated with the Sonic universe. Of course, back in 2008-2010, I wasn't so original and this Ellie was meant to be the cousin of Tails the fox which kind of says it all really. My fursona back in around 2009 was basically a dark blue, two-tailed fox who was a Doctor Who rip-off and Ellie was meant to be his love interest. Before 2009, my fursona was in human form and yes, for those who are Whovian's, he did regenerate into a humanoid fox in his story.
Oh yeah, other main differences between this Ellie and the current Ellie are the sky blue fur colour and the fact she had 4 tails which, looking back, would've probably made Tails even less special.
Regarding the name in her first drawing, Ellie's original name was indeed "Ellecarlazade" but of course, that was too long a name and Ellie just rolls off the tounge easier. Also, she was purple and you can kind of tell the clothes are pretty much just Mina Mongoose's clothes in a different colour.
Personality wise, this Ellie was basically quite cowardly and sort of like the stereotypical "Damsel-in-distress" although not completely reliant on my fursona, she had some degree of independence and was fairly mechanical.
But anyway, once I stopped using my first fursona, I still had a heart to want to draw Ellie and the July 2010 drawing was basically before she became the Ellie I use today, known as "Ellie Deeptrun" or "SEINOV Ellie".
Looking back at these drawings now, they are kind of cringe but on the other hand, I am feeling a bit nostalgic.
