true... do you have warranty that covers getting stolen? Because what my mom did when her phone broke was just call it in stolen. They wanted a police report which is pretty much online. She said she lost it/got stolen at a concert. She didn't even submit the police report to the police, she just gave a copy to the warranty people and they sent her the same phone in a week.
Heh, I sometimes have that ego filled, ignorant one, track American mind.... assuming everyone around me follows the same laws and rules and lives in the USA. So my bad, I am usually better at not doing that. I honestly don't remember where you live, so cheating the system will be harder if you go that path.

You do know, that I agree with you completely. I was saying that I fell trap to what most people from the USA do. Which is being ignorant of people around us and to the rest of the world. I am usually pretty good about it, but this is one point where I didn't instantly see it from both sides.

That's great that Spanish is spoken so much, I know for a fact that it is actually easier to learn Spanish then English, and ya' know what, I don't really care. I am not chastising anyone from being from a different country then my own and speaking a different language, or in this case learning a different map.
But if can't call my self American, what am I? Because if your from Canada, your Canadian, if your from Haiti, you are a Haitian etc. (this doesn't apply in every sense...). If I am from the United Sates of America, what do I call myself, if not American? (and don't say gringo...).
And honestly, have you gone through an read the United States history text book (I guess college or high school level... any younger then that would be kinda pointless), as well as where ever you are from? Because if you have, bravo. But, I honestly haven't and whether it be ignorance or not, I don't plan on it anytime soon.
So again, if some one is agreeing with you, and even trying to correct what they said, don't bash them, it just pisses people off. Some things are freakin' obvious. We are taught differently, I will not deny it, and I don't even know/care who is "right" because it will be different everywhere.

I know that gringo isn't all bad, but then again, I don't know where you are from, so it just concerns me. Because I know it is bad in some places.
And props you for learning English (well obviously you know English). I have many friends who have come up from Mexico to work, and I say the same thing, because my Spanish is awful.

I'm almost entirely sure I'd vomit if I had to retrieve something from a bowl of feces. Everytime I would even look at it I'd get nauseous. I think I'd pay $500 just so I would never have to do this.
Urine on the other hand is sterile and mostly water so that wouldn't be so bad.

Dry it out as best you can and hope for the best. Like I said, I spilled an entire milkshake on my keyboard, but it worked 90% when I cleaned the whole thing and let it dry. BUT. I didn't let it sit long enough in the sun, so when I plugged it back in, the little bit of moisture left shorted it. ><; DO WHAT YOU CAN TO SAVE YOURSELF! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. Enjoy milkshakes with lids!
Its just one of those things that you hope and pray to dear Santa Christ that it doesn't happen to you too. I will do everything in my power to make sure it does not happen to me and my Droid!

Ouch, sad to say this has happened to me with one of my older phones... Thankfully, it was an old motorola that never quit working, even after a night in the pool. I couldn't imagine dropping my N900 like that though, but at least I waited until I had enough money for the phone and insurance.
Speaking of which, when did you get the N97? (Assuming you're talking USD, which around you is an assumption that should never be made I gather) 500$ is very high for it. They typically sell for about 350-400$ new, and I am not even sure what they sell for used. Considering you were planning on selling it, I take it the phone wasn't all you wanted it to be? For what you paid for it, you should have tried a N900, much more responsive and faster. Even if you don't like the fact it is powered by linux (which you can't really tell unless you are looking for it, like I do), it really is a great device.
Ultimately, I hope you feel better, and that you get the TV you want if you can get the phone fixed with a reasonable price (hopefully free).

Celphones are more expensive here due to taxes. We don't have factories that produce it, nor we are a first in line client, to make Nokia lower the price like they do to the U.S.
