Actually it'd be even easier than that. Remember, in the story it was actually pretty easy finding the ingredients, and all she'd have to do is get them from the same sources as before. Her mom wouldn't even mind lending her the jewelry, since passing through Max's internals polished them up so nicely. ;)

Yeah, except that I thought part of the plot was that the only reason Max got his soul back instead of becoming a normal, brain-seeking husk, was because she got the recipe JUST slightly off and had an immense amount of love for her brother.

Then again, if Grandma had a hand in things, it's not too far of a stretch to think she might help in getting the recipe right once more to help a cute little squirrel get some zombie playtime.

I didn't specify it but the real reason Max came back as he did was because Tish's motives were pure and because she and Max loved each other so much.

So, since Tish wouldn't be reviving Lily to help her destroy the world, and since Lily would be happily willing, it'd likely work out pretty good. :)

Actually, when I started out I intentionally gave Lily a fetish I didn't really share. I'm indifferent to funerals myself, so it was a challenge for me to understand her enthusiasm for them enough to write her realistically. But that was kinda the point, because a big reason I wrote the story was to try and get my readers t empathize with someone who has a strange fetish. To like Lily even if you don't share her likes, or even understand them.
