So those of you who have been watching me for a while may have noticed that I put all a characters height into their torso, slightly distorting them in a toony fashion.
Well yesterday I decided to try putting more height into the legs so the torso could be more anatomically correct.
End result, my characters look 1.5 times as tall as they should.
The pic itself is a success but the experiment is a fail.
I think I'll keep doing things the way I already do. =.=

well, in reality, the legs are about half of your total height, your torso and head together being the other half. Depending on how you choose to draw, its safe to experiment with different components to suit your style.
Since i try to draw in a more semi-realistic way, i try and keep my proportions very liflike. TBH, I actually like your toonier style more... >///<
