The Darkfox is a homage to a fictional MechWarrior that was said to live around 150 years into the future. Mimicing his combat style of hit and run, this pint-sized 'Mech is designed to FLY. Able to fly nearly as fast as it can run, it has good range. Its weakness however is a light armament and mediocre armor plating, a sacrifice in making this agile unit so maneuverable.

I have the 1992 printing of TRO 3055 on my bookshelf, but most of my experiences with the Rakshasa were from Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries... I had so much fun piloting that 'mech and blowing whoever got in my way to smithereens! :oD

Actually... that's a Rakshasa... though its original design purpose seems to have worked here...
