“ Little Red Riding Hood” From the Brothers Grimm adaptation:
“The Grandmother lived out in the wood half a league from the village and just as Little Red Cap entered the wood a Wolf met her. Red Cap did not know what a wicked creature he was and was not at all afraid of him.
W: “Good day Little Red Cap,” said he.
R: “Thank you kindly, Wolf.”
W: “Where are you going so early, Little Red Cap?”
R: “To my Grandmother’s.”
W: “What have you got in your apron?”
R: “Cake and wine, yesterday was baking day, so poor sick grandmother is to have something good to make her stronger.”
W: “Where does your grandmother live, Little Red Cap?”
R: “A good quarter of a league further on in the wood, her house stands under the three large oak trees right near the hazel nut bushes. You surely must know it,” replied Little Red Cap””

Daisies: Innocence, Purity, and New Beginnings
Red Poppy: Remembrance and Hope for a Peaceful Future
Red poppies have a significant history and biology. Poppies naturally grow and flourish in disturbed earth, so when World War 1 happened with all the explosions, and burials, the battle field would then have fields of Red Poppies on the battle field and over the quick makeshift mass graves of the soldiers who fought in the war. Since then, the Red Poppy has been used to remember the soldiers who fought in World War 1 and 2.

Thanks Klaora! =D
really flexing my monochrome and black/white skills, and oi... realizing how much room there is for improvement if I were to compare myself to a lot of the black and white comic artists. So, I am really challenging myself but I’m having fun (stressed out, up past the midnight hours, creeping low self esteem, then sudden elation XD). But again, Klaora, thanks for saying so, I hope to do more exploration of my interpretation of Red Riding Hood and the Wolf.
