Ever since Kier had that run-in (NSFW story) with Doctor Mordenheim , he periodically can't control his growth. As such, he is not allowed on planes for safety purposes. Something that he fervently disagrees with.
I'm not sure if this is going to be his birthday forever, but apparently, 1/25 is international zebra day. It seemed as good a day as anything else. xD

Yeah, I was thinking that he’s okay to sail because he can be kept above decks, and it’s less likely to end in disaster than a plane. He’s giant and Marmalade is a swimmer; it’ll work out alright. xD; Maybe he’ll be able to admit that it’s fun every now and again once they get there.
