A short scene set on Chirp's home planet Cicaria.
Most animals & plants on Cicaria have high concentrations of toxin in their body. When you find food that's edible it's best to hoard as much as you can for later. Hence why the Cicarian body developed to be like a big rubbery sack, it can be stuffed with large amounts of food for safekeeping. Their stomach excretes a kind of preservative as well to keep food fresh.
Every Cicarian settlement has dedicated living food storages, though they usually rotate storage duty. It can get quite boring, and sometimes like in this case you have to deal with difficult customers...

They used to be fairly low tech, no electricity or anything. Until they came into contact with humans. Humanity introduced them to a lot of scientific knowledge, some Cicarians decided to adopt a more modern lifestyle, others preferred to stick to their traditional way of life like in this settlement here. Chirp for one always had a strong interest in science-y stuff, and wanted to see space for herself so she took the job on the space station.
It's in the middle of the solar system of Selen IV, Lardum Magnus and several other planets. Probably caught in the rotation of on of the larger planets.
The Galactic Envoys were assigned to keep the peace in that system, they own the station and keep diplomatic relationships with the local aliens. Dizzy & her people weren't native to the system originally, they moved here after their home planet fell victim to a fatal ecological crash. Dizzy took her job to improve relationships between humanity & Selenians.
