I wrote this in 1990, and then eventually forgot about it. It was a completely pointless exercise, as there was no one at the time who had any interest in publishing anything remotely like it. That may still be the case, although it bears a passing resemblance to background for some D&D game ... except that there is no game. It is based on the idea of the Irish Pooka, and I must have watched the movie Harvey again at around the same time. Pooka's are shape shifters, among other things, and I invented a magic ring that could give the gift of a Pooka's powers. Make the best of the story, or pass it by, as you like.
