The style that Chameleon and Sifu worked on focused on using Chameleon's natural abilty to blend in to his surrounding along with other means of doing so, namely overwhelming the senses with sight, sound, and scent to cover up his movements.
While Chameleon can blend into the surroundings, he can only do so to himself, meaning to truly pass undetected, he has to shed his clothes, something he's hesitant to do around the others... unless he absolutely has to complete the mission
