At a July 4th celebration in greenfield village (henry ford museum) where we could picnic on a grassy hill amongst the river, the 1800s houses, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as we waited for the firework show at 10pm. Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" was being played at the time I conjured up these rabbits because I pictured alot of actions and movement due to the emotion of the song, and this sketch was done practically in the dark by lamp-light. Anyway, I love the song now and listen to it all the time. If you listen to it, all the slow sweetly-played parts go to the balloon scene and the rabbit with the oversized hat, and the nautical-type music with all the cymbols goes with the waterfall scene, and the big patriotic musical ending goes with the little drummer rabbit.
Oooh, I should admit that the waterfall scene wasn't of my own complete imagination, the sound of the music reminded me of the waterfall scene in Buster Keaton's "Our Hospitality", with a few changes of my own on this pic.
(ballpoint pen, words retyped in PS7 because I'm a messy letterer)

The boat flipped over at the bottom of the waterfall says "damfino".
LOL probably is, but then he'd be missing the sight of the fireworks booming along with them. Though at the time i was just thinking of a curious rabbit looking into the inside of a hat (a usual cutesy pose). ;)
