I plan on iterating on this and turning it into something more finished. Got a lot of rage inside me that needs channeling.
I drew this a while ago, but posting it today seems appropriate - my boyfriend and I had a long discussion about betrayal last night, and the anti-queer discrimination I faced from an ex-friend in high school hit me pretty squarely as just that, discrimination, in a way it never had before. I realized that I had a lot to unpack from that.
Anyway. Brunch is still cancelled.
