I wanna get a ferret but we have too many cats right now. Once all of our felines are gone though I'm gonna adopt a ferret from one of the shelters here in Washington.

I have 3 ferrets, a dog, and 2 cats!

Well, I have 15 cats and 11 dogs plus a family of raccoons that eat our cat food. Speaking of raccoons, I had an interesting experience last year. We get our water from a spring box on our property and the lid on top had rotted away. Before we could replace it a baby raccoon fell in. We managed to rescue it but we thought it was dead at first but to our surprise it was still alive the next day. I ended up having to hold the raccoon while we tried to get a hold of someone to take care of it. Sadly, we didn't have a camera to take pictures or else I would have posted them on here and LJ.

Yeah, may wanna hold off on the ferret. lol Glad you were able to save the baby coon!
