Saucer Beast Surprise Thursday Post.

Gari Gari was the monster of the week which appeared at the end of Ep.46 of UFO Robo Grendizer: it was a humanoid type beast with a skeleton look to its design; it was color white, red, yellow and brown, with the blue saucer shells as arms. It would use the shell plates as weapons. The Saucer Mode was a blue and lavender color basic standard, with it's head coming out from the forward end. It fire laser beams from its eyes.

Side note 1: this is like one of the weaker episodes, since much of it takes center stage in water park and the agents plans to capture and interrogate Koji. The monster doesn't appear until the tail end and the fight really doesn't last that long: this one one was the slugger of the Episodes.

In the middle of midnight, A group of Vega Agents drive 2 trucks to the beach, where five meteorite come down from the sky and to the sea; these come to shore, revealing themselves to be robot sharks. The following day, Team Grendizer learns Koji is invited to a new park in Yatohara (Marine Land) which would feature a Shark Show, though some find it suspicious and concern of possible Invader attacks, Hikaru, Dambei and Goro go along with him to enjoy some fun.

Side note 2: Don't tell Sayaka, but I think the little bastard wanted to enjoy some time with Hikaru.

Once there, they enjoy the amenities, with Dambei heading to the park restaurant, where he interacts with a Vega agent disguise as the restaurant manager, where another comes in and informs of Koji's pressence in the park, and these move to capture him. Koji briefly leaves the others intended to make a phone call but ends up falling into a chute trap under the booth, later the villains inform Gandal and the general orders them to interrogate him for Grendizer's exact hideout.

As Hikaru and Goro search for Koji through the park, a drunken Dambei sneaks into the food delivering compartment searching for more food, but overhears the manager intents of arresting him after arresting Koji, though he takes not much of this heed to this due to his drunken state; walking out he stumbles upon his kids, inform them of what he heard, which increases Hikaru's suspicions of the place, suspecting Vega and they leave to call Umon.

At the interrogation Room, the Agents reveal themselves and their intents to Koji, to hold him and the other guests as hostages. After informing Umon, Daisuke is sent to assist on his own. Hikaru follow one of the agents into the secret base below, as the Sharks are been release, at this point the Agent reveal the park has a Saucer Beast below it. As Koji sasses the villains one of them through his gun to shut up, which Hikaru grabs which she uses to kill the lead agents, though the last guard is killed by Daisuke, who arrives on time, and the releases Koji, who warns them of the situation. Hikaru and Daisuke leave to get Grendizer and D-Spazer while Koji and the others take control of the robots and help the guests out.

Side Note 4: in short, Koji has the Robo-Sharks scaring the guests though it activates their destruct device ... this also activates Gari Gari. WHOOOOPS!

Grendizer and D-Spazer arrive as the beast commences its attack and fight it; with the help of D-Spazer, the beast is distracted enough to get's it left arm cut off by Double Harken. Grendizer finishes Gari Gari with a Screw Punch in the stomach and Space Thunder combo. The crowds cheer for Team Grendizer.

Side note 5: Whole fight was short, lasting at best a minute and 12 seconds. Weak sauce XP
