It's been a while since I last posted. Life happens. Hopefully, the breather will mean people are glad to see something new. Here's another amur leopard photo. I'll keep them up until I run out. Then I'll go back and get more! ^.^
This was taken on Dec. 31, 2020, at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. This is the male of the pair of amur leopards they have there. I remember at least when it comes to this photo. Sometimes I get mixed up which is which. I should really study their spots!
This was taken through a fence. So the focus can only manually be adjusted so much to get ride of the links. It's almost faded out of focus, but you can see it easily enough if you look. My camera lacks IBIS, so maintaining manual focus from that far away while holding it by hand means sometimes I get better results than others.
I probably spent more time than I should developing this one from RAW. I use Aurora, and it can get really involved. I tweaked more things than I can recall in order to try to improve the image and make the areas where links were blurring the leopard fade. It's still not what I'd hope, but I suppose that it never can be when a fence is in the way.
As always, let me know what you all think. Thanks!
