Got another in-stream sketch from 
wolfpsalm earlier this week, and since I'd been getting a number of pictures of Mercedes lately, I decided to go with that here. So here's the private detective kitsune picking a door lock, like at the end of the Mardi Gras story.... of course, if you can use magic to move the picks around rather than needing to get your hands in exactly the right place, then why not?

I mean, I named her in part because of the car (and the first commission of her includes the car) but the car was named after Mercédès Jellinek, the daughter of the man who commissioned the first model from Daimler in the first place. It's an uncommon but perfectly traditional woman's name.
