I've been longing for
Daisies to push through the floor
After over a year I'm finally doing some more art of the goodest child. Had this image in my mind for a few days and finally decided to crack down and get to it. Also because today Hollow Knight turns 4 years old, which is bonkers cause it really doesn't feel like that long since I made the previous anniversary picture. So this technically isn't an anniversary picture in itself but it still works for the occasion.

I tend to associate Hollow a lot with plants, I just think they have a link to them and that raising plants would be very therapeutic to them. Of course this image still represents their time at the White Palace, and is more symbolic of their deeper emotions which they're not even fully aware of due to all of the shit they've been put through. It's the inkling, the hidden yearning for life that exists within them, as it does in every living being, yet they don't understand it. Not yet. But with time and support from their siblings and friends I like to think that Hollow will be able to live the life they truly deserve.

A special drawing for a special character. And a special story that very much changed my life. Happy fourth anniversary Hollow Knight and all the dear bugs in it.
