After a brief hiatus of (literal) self growth and research, Grom is ready to use his stronger magical potential to continue his lovely experiment to create a wonderful edible thiccening spell stronger than any he has had before! With the grand success of his first test, utilizing a water spell with the properties of the magic he was creating, Grom has developed the first prototype of the standalone spell. After some research, he has discovered a creature that fits his new needs...
"Now we have reached the next step of the creation process. Currently, I must guarantee the flexibility factor granted by this piece of magic. Therefore, this version of the spell, while now standalone, does not posses any growth properties, only serving to grant that target endless capacity like my own body. Due to this I required a creature that is able to expand on it's own. It is not something commonly found of course so the search was time consuming and somewhat difficult. However, I finally did come across something quite unique and obscure. While it required some set up, I believe it was worth it.
Looking into some unique cases, I discovered an incident (most of the details are unknown) in which an odd creature was created, and with it, many others were spawned. The creatures in question appear be a combination of heavily enchanted paint and paint thinner, creating an ink like being. They appear to be known as "Blotlings." Interesting already and likely something I already wished to look into further, however in this, I discovered exactly what I needed.
One of type of these said Blotlings were of quite remarkable girth, so I naturally looked into them. Following the odd naming conventions of this species, this heavy type was referred to as a "Spladoosh". Quite a silly name in my opinion, I think I will simplify it and refer to it as the "heavy type" or "heavies". Like the rest of the Blotlings, heavies appear to have limited capabilities and mindsets, as if to serve only a specific purpose. Heavies are extremely dormant, almost always asleep. However, even the simple act of being awake causes their bodies to get excited and cause a rapid build up of ink, which, for their already bloated bodies, quickly causes them to rupture, basically making them living bombs.
This ability is exactly what I required in my test subject and I will be quite pleased to see how far this ability actually goes. The one obstacle I faced however, Blotlings only existed in a specific world due to the very unique method of their creation. Fortunately I am a magical genius and could create something similar, if not exact, with a bit of effort.
I proceeded to use enchanted paint and thinner but of a heavily thick type to try to solely recreate a heavy. Letting the concoction work itself over a few weeks, the creation was a grand success, creating a heavy who already exceeded the size and mass of any specimen of it's species. I do prefer subjects who are already a step ahead. I of course, found it asleep, but I had to work quickly, for their sleep is actually quite easily disturbed.
A simple matter of course, and my magics were already in effect when it noticed me, with some visible confusion naturally, as it has not really seen any live being before. Now then, let's see it all come together. I'm sure my lovely ink blob creation will not disappoint, in fact, one my even consider it to be my son. How charming, big and corpulent just like it's creator."
I aim for this part to be a bit shorter than the piranha plant one since it's already so big to start with but we will gladly get to see the inky boy become quite huge.
