This is… delicious. The first thing that popped into my head when I saw this, was that it has the colours of some kind of dessert; glazed orange peel dipped in dark chocolate, or crème brulee or… some other kind of sugary goodness rich in taste and texture.

It’s a picture of a character of mine and it makes me crave monosaccharides for all the wrong reasons!

But yeah, the colours and your creamy way of painting is pretty much the most gorgeous thing ever. I love how he loops across the page and comes right at the viewer, grumpy for one reason or another. I love how you did his hair (it’s glossy and awesome, because he’s worth it!) and the hand closest to us. Love how he fades into the background like that too, and that shock of fur on his arched back.
