Something about that forward bridge (or is it a lookout nest? Something along those lines?) bugs me. High profile target on thin little legs, just begging to be shot away or to topple over into the rest of the ship, causing a Michael Bay style chain reaction explosion.

You mean the tower? That one actually an observation tripod masts, you can see the 20th century warship (Especially the USS Arizona) equipped with this tower.

Yeah, that thing. I guess they're there with good reason, but still, doesn't seem right. It's like those pagoda bridge towers Japanese warships used to have; too much of a high-profile target.

Hehehe... The Japs were crazy enough to built the big towering bridge on their ship especially the Fuso class battleship. But I still thinking why they didn't draw the round marks on their bridge? Or put a sign 'Shoot here! The perfect target is here!'
