Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury has come out and I wanted to do something for the occasion, no other reason. Just something I wanted to do. I've drawn the Mario Bros. a handful of times in my style, so I figured I'd take the opportunity to try my hand at Toad and Princess Peach. Mostly fine with it, Peach might need some work but otherwise I'm happy with it.

I've barely played Xenoblade, so no. I've just seen a couple designs of mushroom people online I really liked. In terms of Toads, I feel they should be as varied as actual mushrooms so this is just one of many ways I should have drawn them. I just feel it opens up for a lot of fun design possibilities then.
