Couldn't agree more! After all, you don't want to hurt feelings of someone shorter than you, right? It'd be awfully impolite and rude. But your stomach can help avoiding that situation by making them a part of you! Few hours of churning and nobody has to worry about "short person problem"! Yay!
Murr!
I do like the way the rabbit is standing on her toes, arms behind her back looking upwards at the handsome wolf, eager to talk with him. I imagine in a world where predation can occur, big muscled preds can have an allure for smaller creatures, even if they don't actually expect or want to fall prey to them.

It seems entirely reasonable, and perhaps even a bit expected, for "pred appeal" to be a thing! In my modern settings, preds make up between 5% and 10% of the population. So prey find themselves mostly surrounded by other prey. To suddenly find oneself face to face with a huge, fit, exotic, possibly dangerous person? It's only natural that some prey are gonna think that's hot, possibly to the extent of overriding their common sense.
She's probably thinking that it's not likely that she'll actually get eaten. That only happens to other, less careful prey, right? And it's not until she's packed into his tight, steamy gut that she realizes her mistake. She'll be getting closer to him than she had ever hoped!

Allison ran up the stairs three at a time with a two foot stack of documents held to her chest. She came out on the fifth floor into a sea of rabbits, mice, squirrels, and other prey, all squeaking chattering. The din was horrible, and she did her best to ignore it, looking at the floor as she pursued her errand. She knew she was being unreasonable; she was a rabbit herself after all! But she felt claustrophobic, surrounded by so many fellow prey. Plus she was hungry, it was almost lunch time, and she had a bit of a headache.
Finally she found the office she was looking for. She pushed the door open with her shoulder and entered. There was no one at the desk, which was a relief. At least she had a break from the endless chatter. She dumped the papers on the desk, and leaned against it, catching her breath, enjoying the silence, not at all eager to return to the tumult outside.
There was a *clack!* as the door opened behind her. Wearily she turned to confront whichever bunny or mouse or squirrel or whatever had come inside. “I’m sorry I. . .” she began.
As she turned, she was surprised when instead of someone’s head, her gaze fell upon a set of long muscled legs, hips, and a bushy black tail. Her gaze moved up a lean middle, a pair of clawed paws, muscled chest and arms, to the face of a wolf, who was smiling toothily.
“Oh hi!” she managed in a voice an octave above her usual tone. She felt all tingly inside. It wasn’t polite, but she couldn’t resist ogling him. Mmmmm, sooo big! Sooo Strong! With those claws and those fangs and those muscles, if they were in older times, a bunny like her wouldn’t stand a chance. Of course he wasn’t going to prey on a coworker! But it excited her to think how he could. The sight of the wolf triggered ancient instincts in her. It made her feel awake and alive for the first time in months, and her headache was gone.
“Uh. . . heh heh!” She managed. At least the wolf was smiling. He didn’t seem angry at her intrusion or her confusion. Gazing down upon her, he seemed to appreciate the sight of her as well. Thoughtlessly, she pushed herself up to her toes, leaning back and showing herself off even as she gazed appreciatively at him.
“I uhm. . .brought the Felspar papers!” she managed, glancing briefly back at the desk, before her returning her gaze to him. Was he sizing her up? She slid her arms behind her back, pushing her shoulder’s further back. “Uh, I don’t think we’ve met!” she added in a cheerful voice. “My name’s Allison.” She tilted her head and gave a coy smile. “Uhhhh, maybe we could have lunch together? Maybe have a chat? Get to know each other?”
The wolf smiled toothily. But instead of replying, he reached back, and bolted the door shut. Even smitten as she was, Allison couldn’t miss the significance of that action; she turned and tried to bolt!
*SQUEAL!!!!* Even if she hadn’t been trapped in an office Allison wouldn’t have gotten far, as her belly hit a clawed paw wrapping around her, lifting her up, and slamming her belly down on the desk with a *WHUMPH!*
*SQUEAL!* *SQUEAL!* *SQUEAL!* A paw on her back pinning her to the desk, Alison kicked, wriggled and squealed. Yet terrified as she was, she couldn’t help but admire how the wolf efficiently took her down. She felt his clawed paw slide against her rear as he slipped it beneath her pants and panties and pulled them both down. Her back was to him, but she could just imagine him licking his chops as rabbit haunches and legs were revealed.
The wolf turned turned her onto her back and sat upon her hips. She kicked but her feet hit nothing but air. Oh, he really knew how to take down a rabbit, didn’t he? She looked up at the gorgeous fanged pred as he pulled off her blouse. “C. . .couldn’t we talk about this?” she managed.
He didn’t say a word as he stripped off her top. But then she would have lost respect for him if he had. What sort of self-respecting pred chatted with their catch?!? Not this one! The wolf was nothing but business, and the rabbit was nothing but lunch.
Her top off, dressed in nothing but fur, Allison wriggled while the wolf grabbed her by the shoulders and lifted her. Strangely, even as she struggled, she knew she wasn’t struggling as hard as she could. Deep down she couldn’t shake the feeling she was rightfully the wolf’s catch. And besides, she had no doubt this wolf could easily overpower her, so why fight?
“Wait! Wait! Wait!” Allison didn’t have much time to dwell on those thoughts as, ignoring her entreaties (as a good wolf should), he heaved her up, opened his jaws, slid them over her head, and swallowed.
The wolf mad quick work of her, swallowing her down. In spite of her fear, she couldn’t help but also feel excited, being taken down by such a virile hungry wolf! He licked and tasted everywhere, with nor regard for her comfort or modesty. She was just food after all.
She was stuffed into his stomach, her knees pushed against her chest. And as poor Allison was digested alive, he let out a *belch!*, sat down at his desk, and returned to his work going through the pile of papers on his disk, no regard to the coworker who squirmed weakly in his stomach. Oh! Oh! Allison moaned. It was just perfect!

Gosh, this is really good! I love the way he didn't talk to her at all, obviously treating her as prey from the get-go. I think you did a fantastic job of portraying Allison's dual feelings -- both the fear of being eaten, and the undeniable fact that she found it -- and him -- kind of hot. And I love preds who eat their prey and then just go right back to their day, ignoring the person digesting alive inside them.
You know, these stories that you sometimes post in the comments on my pictures are always really great. Would you ever be interested in doing a collab some time?

Thank you! What I wrote was inspired by your comments about "pred appeal", and by the drawing itself with the way the rabbit is poised before the wolf, and the drawing's prescription of how preds should relate to prey. I'm flattered by your invitation, but for me it's sort of a spontaneous thing. I'll look at a picture or read something and it inspires an idea in me I just have to get out. For now, I'm not sure I want to go beyond that.
Ah, that's completely fair! I don't want to turn your story-writing into something that you don't enjoy or that doesn't work for you. I'm just happy to hear that my words and art can be inspiring! And I do want you to know that I enjoy your stories, and I look forward to any that may or may not happen in the future. ^^
Sitting in HR fielding phone calls, Barbara gave a weary sigh. The sounds of the squirrel's fellow rodents chattering in the neighboring cubicles went on and on and on. The phone rang and she picked it up. “Hello?” she answered, unable to keep the weariness out of her voice. Her mood immediately picked up hearing the voice of the hunky wolf from management at the other hand. “Oh hi, Stan! What can I do for you?” She tilted her head at the reply. “Allison is no longer an employee?” she answered. “What happened did she quit? Did she. . . . . . . . .. .oh. . . . . . . . . .oh. . . . . . . . . .ohhhhhhhhh. . . . “ She swallowed. “Uhm, sure thing, Stan! I’ll take care of that.” Slowly Barbara hung up the phone. She felt unsettled, and unsure what to think. On the one hand, a poor defenseless rabbit had lost her life. But on the other hand, Allison was, or rather had been, a foolish bunny who had carelessly let herself get locked in an office with a wolf. What had she expected?!? And while Barbara knew she would never let herself get into such a fix, the news made her tingle inside. She closed her eyes, imagining Allison lying back against the desk as the wolf towered over her, his claws out. She imagined Stan with his head thrown back, a pair of twitching bunny feet siding down his maw. It was with an effort of will she opened her eyes and brought her attention back to the present. She brought up Allison’s file, and clicked “no longer employed,” and began filling out the appropriate forms. This sort of thing happened occasionally with prey employees. She made a note to herself that when the day was done, she’d see if she could catch a glimpse of the wolf on his way out.
This is also pretty accurate to how I picture prey acting upon finding out or realizing that another prey got eaten! Her fault for letting herself get caught in that situation.
Plus, he's a hunk, so why complain? Though she might want to be careful when she's trying to catch that glimpse. Hopefully he doesn't want dessert.
